Watch Figure Skater Perform to AC/DC Medley at Olympics

Hungarian figure skater Ivett Toth might not have come anywhere near the podium for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, but she found a first place spot in the hearts of rock fans all over the world.

This was the first Olympic games in which figure skaters were allowed to perform their routines to music with lyrics. Many skaters have taken advantage of the new rules, skating to pop songs of all types.

But Toth might be the first athlete to perform to hard rock, skating to an AC/DC medley including "Back in Black" and "Thunderstruck."

The 19-year-old from Budapest donned fingerless gloves and a studded leather top with an image of AC/DC lead guitarist Angus Young on the back.

While Toth fell several times during her program and earned just a 53.22, the score was a season-high for her. Twitter loved it.

"This lil one came in with the AC/DC knowing full well the judges would hate it and sis did NOT give a f---," wrote one Twitter user.

"New favorite skater ever: Ivett Toth, who is skating to AC/DC's Back in Black and Thunderstruck. I feel like I'm at an NFL game. (Or working out in the gym.) She's wearing what looks like leather biker gear," wrote NY Times columnist Juliet Macur. "The old judges are nearly fainting. You be yourself, girl!"

Even pro wrestler Frankie Kazarian weighed in!

"I know nothing about figure skating, but I'm cheering for the girl who just did a routine to AC/DC's Thunderstruck,'" he wrote.

Toth's routine is not the first time in recent years that a skater selected music from a rock group in high-level competition.

In 2015, France's pro ice skating team performed to Disturbed's awful cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence."
