Nine Inch Nails are going on a world tour this year. The band confirmed the news on X Monday night (January 13) but did not share details, explaining that the postponement is in light of the Los Angeles wildfires that continue to devastate the area.
“Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon," the statement reads. "We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”
Three dates have leaked so far: August 23 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON; August 31 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH; and September 10 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. There are also whispers of shows in Atlanta, Raleigh, Philadelphia and London.
The tour is reportedly being billed as the Nine Inch Nails “Peel It Back" world tour, which is a nod to their 1994 song "March of the Pigs." The band last played together in 2022; however, their last tour was 2017-18's "The Trilogy Tour."
Although the band's been quiet in recent years, its members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been busy scoring films, including their Golden Globe-winning work on 2024's Challengers.
