The 10 Greatest Albums By Women

 JONI MITCHELL's classic album "Blue" tops a list of 'The 150 Greatest Albums By Women.'  "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" by Lauryn Hill is second, followed by "I Put a Spell on You" by Nina Simone.

 

 

FULL STORY:  NPR put out a list of "The 150 Greatest Albums By Women," as a reaction to the usual male-dominated lists.  It covers albums made by women between 1964 and the present, and it was put together by nearly 50 women from across NPR and the public radio system.
