It's Truth: Justin Timberlake Is Performing the Super Bowl Halftime Show

HIGHLIGHTS:  The NFL and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE have confirmed that he'll headline the Super Bowl halftime show.  It's been 14 years since Justin and JANET JACKSON's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" back in 2004.  Some people are wondering if Janet might join him . . . but it's just talk for now.

FULL STORY:  The rumors were true . . . last night, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE confirmed that he's hosting the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 4th.

He posted a 20-second video where he and Jimmy Fallon do a wordplay skit, where Justin asks Jimmy, quote, "Excuse me, sir, do you have the time?"  Jimmy says, "You do 'HALF time?'"  And Justin says, "I DO 'half time'!"

The NFL also confirmed the news.  This will be his THIRD Super Bowl halftime show appearance . . . but his first since he exposed JANET JACKSON's breast to the whole country back in 2004.

The league has yet to announce if any other artists will join him.  Naturally, people are wondering if Janet might be involved, which would be cool, but that's just talk for now.

Justin also talked about the gig on "Sunday Night Football" . . . and when the, quote, "wardrobe thing" came up, he said, "That won't happen this time.  No, that's not going to happen."  (Here's video.)
