Former UGA football coach Mark Richt released a statement to Twitter on Thursday revealing that he's been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Richt was lead the Georgia Bulldogs football team from 2001 to 2015. During his tenure the team won 145 games and two SEC championships.
After coaching at UGA Richt then became the head coach for the Miami Hurricanes. He now currently serves as an analyst for the ACC Network. Read Richt's statement below:
