35th Annual Forsythia Festival this weekend

The annual Forsythia Festival held in downtown Forsyth is back this weekend!

Bring the family out for fun activities like a two-day arts-and-crafts show, a 5K, sporting tournaments, food, and more!

Tickets are on sale now.

Here's a rundown of this weekend's events.

Saturday, March 12th:

🥞 Boy Scouts’ Pancake Breakfast | 7:00 - 10:00 AM
📍Forsyth United Methodist Church, $8 per person. Proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts. Call (478) 258-1453 for more info.

🏃‍♀️Forsythia’s 5K | 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM

📍Registration will begin at FitCo Health Club at 7:00 a.m. 5K entry is $30 per person. The 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m. For more information, call the Chamber at 478-994-9239 or go to www.forsythiafestival.com.

📚Used Book Sale | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

📍Held at the Monroe County Clubhouse. For more information call 478-994-7025

🚗 6th Annual Bradley Thomason Memorial Car Show | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

📍Located at the Monroe County Recreation Complex, 100 Dan Pitts Drive, Forsyth. All proceeds from this great event benefit the ALS Association. For more information or to register, call (770) 337-4761

🚶Historic Downtown Walking Tour | 10:00 AM – 11:30AM

📍Join Red Dirt Vagabond on a tour of historic downtown Forsyth on this 90-minute tour covering approximately 1 mile. Meet at Lee St Park, 68 N. Lee St. Enjoy entertaining stories and history of the buildings, people and landmarks as you search for Foxhunt clues.

🎨Arts and Crafts Fair | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

📍Downtown Forsyth. Artisans, handmade crafts, and festival food. Free admission.

🕹Kids’ Corner | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

📍Downtown Forsyth. Inflatables, obstacle courses and other activities, wristband entry $15/day. Pony rides also available.

🎤Entertainment | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

📍Downtown Forsyth. Area musicians, dancers, and entertainers showcase their talents for the festival crowd.

🏅Forsythia Tailgate Toss | 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

📍The Forsythia Tailgate Toss returns this year with more fun prizes! Get ready for a friendly cornhole competition in the First Baptist Church parking lot. 40 team limit. Registration $25 per team. Register at www.forsythiafestival.com

Sunday, March 13th:
